First introduced to Malaysia in 1985 through the ELF brand, Total’s products distributed in the country now include lubricants, glass coatings, industrial oil and specialty products.
Total Oil Malaysia, result of the merger of Total Lubricant Malaysia and Elf Lubricant Malaysia, started its business in 2004. Total Oil Malaysia now reaches a market share of approximately 5% and its turnover exceeds MYR 80 million per year.
A NATIONWIDE DISTRIBUTION NETWORK
Managed by geographical area, divided in 4 major regions, the Company has a total of 40 distributors and over 800 workshops nationwide. Total Oil Malaysia also works closely with some major OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) accounts like Proton, Cycle and Carriage and TC Euro (Renault). The segments include workshops, motorcycle outlets, spareparts distributors and direct users (industrial division).
